My sister is simple, good hearted, easy-going girl with great attitude towards family. She is very much family oriented and has been brought up in a traditional, sunni muslim joint family which consists of her father, mother, grandparents, uncles, 5 brothers and 1 sister. We belong shaikh Siddiqui subcaste, are well settled in the town of Kalimpong in Darjeeling since the time of our great grandparents who hailed from eastern UP. My sister is brought up with strong religious and family values, is very homely, caring, a bit shy, not very outspoken but with a great sense of understanding and highly adaptive. She is very particular about her prayers and is observant about the tenets of her faith just as are her parents and siblings, masha'Allah.

I, the eldest brother, am working in the IT department of a reputed MNC and is settled with my wife in Mumbai. The brother next to me is a lecturer in the Govt. College in Kalimpong, Darjeeling. The brother next to him is working as a graphic designer. The others are studying. Father has a business in the hometown, Kalimpong and mother is a great housewife.
