It is never an easy task trying to describe yourself in a few sentences but here I go trying to do my best. I never thought I would be one to join such a website but since I am not getting any younger and I don't really have the time to go out and meet people, I thought I would give it a whirl.

Myfriends describe me as a spiritual/religious, compassionate, hardworking, down-to-earth individual who enjoys the simple things in life. From sitting on my couch reading a good book to sharing a great meal with family and friends to going on a long run, I can pretty much find enjoyment in just about anything. I believe that life is too short to waste away focusing on all the negatives of life.. I believe life is best enjoyed with a good laugh and making the most of your day. I absolutely LOVE corny jokes and always try to have a smile on my face in good times and bad. I have been blessed so far in my life with wonderful family and friends who have stood by my side all these years and have helped shape me into the person I am today. My parents and I have a great relationship, one with mutual respect and love. I also consider myself blessed because I have been given the opportunity to do what I love professionally. I believe you get out of life what you invest in it.. I love helping people and therefore, have devoted my life to this purpose. I am currently a 4th year medical student applying to internal medicine residency programs in the Chicagoland area. In addition to being very career-oriented, I have always had a passion for learning about anything and everything and would one day like to travel the whole world. I am a nature fanatic and would love to see all the beautiful places this world has hidden in its nooks and crannies.

In regard to what I am looking for in a potential partner.. I would like a potential partner to be a vegetarian, outgoing, humble, and have the passion for professional growth. Having a career is very importmant to me and therefore, would like to find a partner who is equally educated and outgoing.
